ABOUT VANESSA:

Vanessa Tonelli serves as Visiting Assistant Professor in Musicology at the University of Southern Mississippi. She received her PhD from Northwestern University, with a specialization in Gender & Sexuality studies. Her research and teaching interests center on the interactions between music, gender, and disability studies in the early modern era.
